Liquid
Evergreen Productions

Edward James Horey
President, Liquid Evergreen Productions.
Liquid Evergreen
Productions was started in May of 2002 by Ed Horey,
formerly known as the lead guitar player of a Liverpool band
called the Beatles...just kidding.
After being involved for seven years with a jam band called
Liquid Evergreen(which disbanded in early 2002),
Ed decided to start & name his production company
in honor of this band.
He
has been producing, performing, and teaching music for over
15 years. Currently based in Pittsburgh, PA
He has toured the United States and Europe extensively playing
classical guitar, indie rock, jam band, and acoustic folk songs.
He has played
shows in Pittsburgh, Austin, San Diego, Los Angeles,
San Francisco, Seattle, Chicago, Detroit, Cleveland, Genoa,
Florence, Rome, Venice, Vienna, Budapest, Prague, Berlin, Amsterdam,
Paris, and Barcelona.
Ed has shared
the stage with countless local and national acts including:
Liz Berlin of Rusted Root, Levinhurst, Mark Dignam,
Greg Felmley(formerly of Apollo 13
& Psoas), Brett Pecco,
Paco Mahone(formerly of Schleigho),
Matt Vucic, New Invisible Joy, Camera, Shade, Life in Bed, and
Chalk Outline Party.
He has played
at numerous venues in Pittsburgh including: Live

31st Street Pub, Club Café, Rosebud, Graffitti, the Mattress
Factory, Rex Theater, Shadow Lounge, Nicks Fat City, Gooski's,
Lava Lounge, Shady Side Arts Festival, and
the Pittsburgh Center for the Arts.
Ed attributes
his influences to classical composers such as J.S.
Bach, Francesco Tarrega, Matteo Carcassi,
and every African American from W.C.
Handy to James Brown that invented
blues, jazz, soul, funk, reggae, and rock.
These
days Ed prefers to live by the sex & cash theory.
His religion & passion is music(the sex
part) & his day job is computers(the cash
part).
Ed
considers himself an inventor of music, live performer &
studio musician, record producer, architect, builder, IT guy,
and most importantly a father.
After earning a bachelor's of science degree in Architecture
from Ohio State University in 2000, he attended
California University of Pennsylvania and earned
a master's degree in Business & Technology in 2004.
Wanting to be a architect & musician since
the age of 7, Ed has been playing in the sand box for more than
fifteen years. Starting out with those early 80's tape recorders,
text based Autocad, and those huge 8" floppies.. He now plays
with state-of-the-art analog & digital toys.
During the day, Ed is the VP of manufacturing systems at Instrumentation
Industries, Inc.. He works with computers and is
also the in-house sustainability expert. He
loves finding ways to help make the factory more energy
efficient & eco-friendly. His latest project is
focused on ways to make the factory's roof greener.
Late
at night, Ed runs his own project studio and production company,
Liquid Evergreen
Productions, that records, mixes, masters songs
for bands and solo artists, and writes and records
his own music for artistic, commercial, & non-profit distribution.
He plays a variety of guitars, bass, piano, and synthesizers
as well as the sequencing & programming for studio projects
and live performances.
He also teaches guitar, bass,
& piano lessons.
His latest project is attempting to shoot music video performances
of some of his songs from Special Agent Ed's latest release,
'tickets for tokyo.'
"I
hope you enjoy the music, and thanks for listening!"
